6 of our Favourite English Garden Wedding Venues in the UK

English Garden Weddings…

There’s nothing more enchanting than English garden elegance. Secret walled gardens, historic manor house lawns, blooming pergolas, and ceremony spaces that feel like they’re from a Jane Austen novel.

I’m an American girl who’s been lucky enough to call the UK home for the last five years, and even now I still adore creating wedding florals in a quintessentially English garden setting. There’s just something about the charm, the romance, the texture of it all. We have some of the dreamiest venues to match. Whether you're going full fairytale or keeping things modern with floral meadows and sculptural colour, these venues bring the magic.

If you're dreaming of a quintessential English countryside wedding and are searching for your perfect UK wedding venue, these handpicked favourites are a great place to start. This is your go-to guide to six of my all-time favourite English garden wedding venues.

Avington Park, Hampshire

Avington Park is a Georgian stately home set in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. With regal symmetry, a sweeping driveway, and perfectly manicured gardens, this venue oozes elegance and is ideal for couples looking to create a classic English garden wedding.

From a florist’s perspective, the Georgian Orangery is the ultimate blank canvas. Flooded with light and full of potential for floral archways, suspended installations, or colourful meadows along the aisle.

Avington Park also offers accommodation for up to 28 guests, so you can turn your wedding into a weekend escape. We love seeing couples enjoy a relaxed garden drinks reception followed by an intimate celebration in the grand ballroom.

If you’re dreaming of an elegant countryside venue that offers both historical beauty and flexibility to bring your vision to life, Avington Park is a total favourite.

Hedsor House, Buckinghamshire

Hedsor House. One of the most iconic and exclusive UK wedding venues. This stunning venue combines grandeur, exclusivity, and a serious sense of occasion. It’s a dream location for a luxurious wedding with all the wow-factor you could wish for.

The house is known for its jaw-dropping dome ceiling, regal staircase, and immaculate gardens that are made for al fresco ceremonies and jaw-dropping floral meadows.

There are 13 beautiful bedrooms on site so your wedding party can stay the night, and the Getting Ready Suite is one of the best we’ve seen. It’s light, elegant, and perfect for those calm pre-ceremony moments with your best girls, your bridesmaids.

As a luxury UK wedding florist, we love Hedsor for its versatility. You can go ultra-classic, super modern, or completely whimsical. For couples wanting that blend of English romance and fashion-forward flair, Hedsor House is unmatched.

Kin House, Wiltshire

Kin House is where modern design meets English countryside charm and it’s one of our absolute favourite venues to work at as a UK wedding florist. This Georgian manor in Wiltshire is beautifully restored with clean interiors, muted tones, and plenty of space to make your wedding feel like a true reflection of your style.

The outdoor areas are what make Kin House such a dream for English garden weddings. The courtyard and walled gardens are stunning for alfresco ceremonies or relaxed summer receptions.

Inside, Kin House can sleep up to 24 guests across 12 gorgeous bedrooms, perfect for turning your day into a weekend celebration. There’s even a dedicated dressing room and onsite bar, so your whole wedding morning feels fun, stress-free, and so stylish.

It’s a UK wedding venue that invites creativity! The kind of place where bold colour, wild florals, and modern touches don’t just work, they shine. If you’re dreaming of something relaxed, luxurious, and a little unexpected, Kin House is a true hidden gem.

Pynes House, Devon

Tucked away in the rolling hills of Devon, Pynes House is a total dream for romantic, storybook-style weddings. With its soft, muted interiors, historical charm, and picturesque gardens, it feels like something straight out of a Jane Austen novel.

This exclusive-use country house offers an intimate yet grand setting for your day. With 12 beautifully designed bedrooms and elegant drawing rooms filled with natural light, it’s the perfect backdrop for luxurious celebrations that still feel relaxed and personal.

As a UK wedding florist, we love how the grounds lend themselves to whimsical floral designs. The formal gardens wrap around the house like a floral embrace, and the walled garden is ideal for alfresco ceremonies, colourful installations, or a statement floral arch. Whether you’re going bold with vibrant hues or soft with pastels, colour always looks beautiful at Pynes House.

It’s an incredible wedding venue for wedding couples planning UK destination wedding who want that quiet luxury, editorial-meets-English countryside vibe.

Hyde House, The Cotswolds

Hyde House is the perfect blend of warm countryside charm and modern elegance in the heart of the Cotswolds. From a wedding florist’s perspective, it’s a total blank canvas — ready to be transformed with colour, texture, and floral creativity.
